Growing up in Romania, in Eastern Europe, in the 1980s, in a simple family, I have known communism and the transition to democracy.

Establishing myself in Switzerland I have discovered a world of progress and contrasts.

My photography is human-driven, reportage-based and painterly.

Reportages in both Eastern Europe and Western World deal with transitions: from an old to a new regime, to ageing, from an analog to a digital world.
